How does this help businesses?
This is another question I am very familiar with, this goes back to using street view. How many times have you peeked at the outside of a building wondering to yourself "What does the inside look like". I have wondered this a million and one times, and I think about it even more now that I am a photographer for Google Business View. Giving potential customers the ability to pop inside at their convenience and virtually browse around saves them time and money. Flexibility is another word I like to use for Google Business View, since it is available to your customers on so many platforms.
Let your customers discover your company

80% of Internet shoppers say images are imperative when deciding to buy or use a company’s product or services. (2006, Pew Internet & American Life Study)
Nearly all consumers (97%) now use online media when researching products or services in their local area, according to BIA/Kelsey (www.bia.com and www.kelseygroup.com).
Getting that "see inside" link on Google is huge, it automatically attracts customers to your business with little effort. It also helps keep online consumers interested in your business.
Ok, now I'm interested, what's the process?
